Funding for 3 year old children - 15 hours and 30 hour options

 

All Local Authorities must  make available sufficient free early education places offering 570 hours a year over no fewer than 38 weeks of the year.

 

This is for every eligible child from the relevant date following their 3rd birthday until they reach compulsory school age (the beginning of the term following their fifth birthday) and to ensure that every place is provided free of charge.

 

A child born between

Will be eligible for a free place from

 

1st  January and 31st March

The start of the summer term following their 3rd birthday until statutory school age (After Easter Holidays)

 

1st  April and 31st August

The start of the autumn term following their 3rd birthday until statutory school age (After Summer Holidays)

 

1st  September  and 31st December

The start of the spring term following their 3rd birthday until statutory school age (After Christmas Holidays)

 

We accept all childcare Vouchers and Government Voucher Payments

 

Sunflowers offers Parents the option to stretch their free funded hours over the full academic year and not restrict them to Term Time Only.

 

These hours can also be split between 2 providers
